Empowering Rajasthan's MSMEs: Building Resilience and Fostering Growth

Rajasthan's MSME sector is vital to the state's economy, contributing approximately 25% to the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) and playing a pivotal role in exports. With around 21 Lakh registered MSMEs - state's small businesses are prominent in sectors like textiles, handicrafts, gems & jewellery and agro-based industries. In the country's largest state Rajasthan, MSME units are providing employment to around 92 lakh people.

To enhance resilience, new initiatives have been taken to support MSMEs with financial assistance, training, and resources to withstand economic challenges. Furthermore, the state is promoting 'Zero Defect Zero Effect' (ZED) certification for 9,000 MSMEs to boost product quality and environmental sustainability. Through its “One District One Product” strategy, the state supports localized MSME growth, focusing on district and tehsil levels.

The Rising Rajasthan MSME Conclave will convene leading MSME entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and thought leaders to discuss the sector's future readiness. The Conclave will feature panel discussions, experience-sharing sessions, and networking opportunities, highlighting the synergy between MSMEs, sustainable practices, and emerging technologies. Special sessions will focus on the challenges and opportunities for women-owned MSMEs, while eminent industrialists will share success stories and insights into Rajasthan's investor-friendly environment.
